This year's Miss USA winner will not lose her crown, despite photographs emerging of her grinding up and down against a pole in a blue tank-top, hot red mini-shorts and stilettos.
Less than 24 hours after Rima Fakih won the pageant on Sunday night, scantily-clad photos showing her pole dancing were published online.
There was speculation Fakih ??“ the first Arab-American to win the competition ??“ might lose her crown but the 24-year-old's publicist has put to rest those rumours.
Her spokesperson told ABC News Fakih would continue the Miss USA publicity tour and take part in the Miss Universe pageant to be held later this year.
The photos of Fakih gyrating on stage were taken in 2007 for Detroit radio show Mojo's "Stripper 101" contest, which Fakih won, ninemsn reports.
