Russian skater, Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin was called to the Federal Court in New York because of the theft trial when the skater lost $1 150 000. Alexei Yagudin accuses his ex-financier Michael Goldin in the deal.
Michael Goldin ran Yagudin's financial deals when the skater participated in "Lednikoviy period" (ice dancing with the stars) project organized by the 1st channel in Russia. Yagudin was sure that his partner was honest and ran the business well. That's why he was surprised when he knew that Michael used the skater's money to buy 13 houses in Florida, a mansion and Mersedes-Benz car.
The skater demands $ 4 000 000 as compensation, Russian Life News reports. According to American laws Michael Goldin may spend 10 years in prison.
