World ice speedway championship took place in Germany last weekend. Russian team ??“ Nikolai Krasnikov from Ufa, Yunir Bazeev from Saransk and Daniil Ivanov from river Volga city Togliatti ??“ celebrated its confident victory.
The first day of competition appeared to be rather hard for the Russians. In 6th round the bill with Austria was equal. Besides this, in fight with German team Russian Nikolai Krasnikov fell and was excluded.
At the second day Nikolai Krasnikov looked the best ??“ the racer was not going to leave the leading positions in all the rounds. The current world champion won 15 points. 14 points more had Yunir Bazeev and Daniil Ivanov together. The result was the gold medal for Russian team. Austria and Germany followed.
