Russia’s ex-finance minister Alexei Kudrin criticized on Thursday Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s remarks regarding the white ribbons worn by protesters at recent nationwide rallies against alleged electoral fraud.

At the end of September, an expert council will be convened. Upon the results of the council meeting, the names of the first residents of Zhiguli Valley industrial park will be announced. During the meeting of the Coordination Council for the strategic development of Togliatti, the mayor Anatoly Pushkov encouraged intensification of the information campaign aimed at attraction of the new residents. ?Everything will depend on the first resident of the park. Should it be a well-reputed branded company, all further work will go much smoother?, ??? he mentioned.
According to Valery Dunisov, the general director of the CJSC Innovative center Zhiguli Valley, the construction of the main facilities will be finalized within the indicated timeframe. Currently, the exterior engineering networks are finalized for 85%. The work on permanent installation of the electric power supply network is not finished yet, but this task will also be resolved before December 2011. By spring 2012, the plan is to complete installation of the gas supply pipeline. Internal finishing works are carried out in the office buildings and labs, the construction workers started installing the scaffolding for fa??ade works. The tender was arranged for the project design and installation of engineering equipment of the data processing center. So far, five companies participated in the tender, and the results will be announced in one week. Upon the analysis of the situation in Togliatti, and taking into consideration the vicinity of the Special Economic Zone, the management of the industrial park suggests that the two entities build an exhibition center collectively, to present the projects of both the residents of the SEZ and Zhiguli Valley industrial park.
