LADA Granta Cup is going to international level
AvtoVAZ racing series with sport versions of LADA Granta in 2012 will compete not only on Russian roads. According to a preliminary calendar, Hungary and Ukraine will take part in next competitions.
Hungarian stage will open on May 5-6 a new season of Cup of a race weekend with the stage of the International Touring Championship (WTCC). In Ukraine LADA Granta Cup will be held in June.
In 2012, the “charged” LADA Granta will compete in Togliatti, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Smolensk, Nizhniy Novgorod and Kazan. And in some cities international auto competitions to take place simultaneously with LADA Granta Cup. In particular, the July stage in Moscow will include the World Series Renault stage.


Russia’s ex-finance minister Alexei Kudrin criticized on Thursday Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s remarks regarding the white ribbons worn by protesters at recent nationwide rallies against alleged electoral fraud.
