LADA 2114 tops the secondary market of Russia · 2018-03-12 11:56

In February 2018, the secondary car market in Russia showed a decline in sales at 0.5%. In annual terms, the number of resold cars in the country fell to 359,234 cars (against 360,916 cars sold in February 2017), according to “Autostat Info.”

Last month, Russians purchased 248 603 used foreign cars (-0.1%), as well as 110 631 second-hand cars of Russian brands (-1.2%).

The February rating of the secondary auto market of the Russian Federation is headed by the model LADA 2114 – 10 509 resold cars (-3% to the previous year). The second place went to Ford Focus, the resale of which decreased by 2.6% and amounted to 9022 units. The third was the model LADA 2107 with the result of 8597 resold cars (-6.6%). Two more places in the TOP-5 of the most popular models of the secondary auto market in February were LADA 2109 (8155 cars, -10%) and LADA 2170 Priora (8093 units, + 10.8%).

As a result of the first two months of 2018, the secondary car market in Russia remains positive. The volume of cars that were resold during this period was 693 521 units, which is 2.4% more than last year’s result (677 169 cars). The growth was provided by the segment of foreign cars, the resale of such cars for the two months increased by 2.4% and amounted to 480,614 units. The volume of resale of domestic cars amounted to 212,907 units, which corresponds to last year’s result.
