Harley-Davidson recalls in Russia its 17 motorcycles (types: FL2, FL3, VR1). The motorcycles sold from July 2009 to September 2012 with VIN-codes according to the application are subject to the review, the press service of Rosstandart reports.

The cause of the recall are the test results showing that if the timing of the replacement of the brake fluid is not met, the brake system may have problems. On vehicles, the brake fluid will be replaced according to the repair instructions.

Authorized representatives of the manufacturer of Harley-Davidson Rus LLC will inform the owners of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, who are subject to recall, about the need to provide the vehicle to the nearest dealer center for repair works by letters and / or by phone.

However, motorcycle owners can independently, without waiting for the message of the authorized dealer, to determine whether their vehicle is subject to recall. To do this, you need to compare the VIN code of your own motorcycle with the attached list, contact the nearest dealer center and make an appointment for repairs.
